The Republic of Belarus has established and operates a VAT refund system (Tax Free), the operator of which is the Republican unitary enterprise "Beltamozhservice".

VAT refund in our country is made to a foreign citizen who does not have a permanent residence in the member state of the Eurasian economic Union, which must be confirmed by a passport or other document. This system can be used in case of purchase of goods in the amount of 80 Belarusian rubles (equivalent to 35 euros) for one day in one store, working on the system Tax Free, that is, signed a contract for the provision of services with RUE "Beltamozhservice".

In 2018, the number of retail facilities providing services under this system approached 400. Their geography covers not only regional, but also regional centers of the Republic. The stores offer products of both imported and domestic production: jewelry, clothing, shoes, electrical appliances and other goods.
