Beltamozhservice took part in the meeting of the advisory group on enhancing the efficiency of customs control
The meeting of the advisory group on improving the efficiency of customs control was held on 9 August under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee Andrei Bolshakov. A representative of Beltamozhservice RUE took part in the event.
At the meeting, representatives of the customs authorities and business discussed the issues of authorised economic operators' activities. In particular, the focus was on the possibilities of remote access of customs authorities to the goods accounting systems of authorised economic operators.
The advisory group has been functioning for many years under the public advisory council of the State Customs Committee. Its work is aimed at organising and coordinating interaction between customs authorities and participants in foreign economic activity, aimed at improving customs control and preventing violations in the sphere of customs regulation. At the meetings of the group the emerging problematic issues related to the practical application of the legislation on customs regulation are also considered.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Customs Committee, 25 economic entities, including participants of the Republican Union of Customs Relations Participants.
