The national logistics operator "Beltamozhservice" became an award winner of the republican contest "The Best exporter of 2022". The company received a prize in the category "Transport and logistics".
The ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition was held on June 14th in the Deepservice Hall.
"The award of the "Best Exporter" competition is very significant for our company, because experts determine the best organization based on the rates of financial and economic activity, export volumes," said Vadim Babarikin, General Director of RUE "Beltamozhservice". "We are recognized as one of the best in terms of exports of transport and logistics services, which indicates a high assessment of the company's contribution to the country's economy." He added that high results were achieved due to the operational reorientation of existing and the construction of new logistics routes for the delivery of goods, as well as the provision of integrated logistics solutions to participants of foreign economic activity.
RUE "Beltamozhservice" is a republican unitary enterprise established by the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus in 1999. The company is a national 4PL operator, occupies a leading position in the market of foreign economic activity and develops Belarusian and international logistics, contributes to the economic security of Belarus.
RUE "Beltamozhservice" today has more than 3,100 employees, issues more than 3,000 customs documents per day, and occupies 1.1 million m^2 of infrastructure area. Beltamozhservice is a forwarder of container trains with Belarusian exports to the People's Republic of China
The company celebrated its 24th anniversary on June 10th.
The republican contest "Best Exporter" is held annually. Its purpose is to stimulate the development of export–oriented production and increase the prestige of national manufacturers in the world market. The competition is held by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with interested ministries, state committees, corporations, regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee, the National Academy of Sciences, business unions, the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, the Beleximgarant Insurance Company and the Administration of the Hi-Tech Park. Over the years of existence the contest, both flagships of the Belarusian industry and small and medium-sized businesses have become winners.
There are 22 nominations and the contest consists of two stages – qualifying and finals. During the qualifying stage, the selection of business entities with the best indicators of financial and economic activity is carried out by departmental (regional) competition commissions. During the final stage, the republican commission at the BelCCI determines the winners of the competition.
The finalists of the competition in 2022 exported goods and services worth $10.4 billion and opened 88 new markets. The largest nominations in terms of the number of participants are "Mechanical Engineering" (24 participants) and "Food Industry" (16 participants).
