"Two countries - one economy"
Cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Nizhny Novgorod region has become particularly active in recent years. Nizhny Novgorod is interested in Belarusian machinery, electric pumps and logistics services.
The Nizhny Novgorod edition of "Delovoy Kvartal" on the eve of the "Person of the Year" award tells about the Belarusian companies competing for victory in the first-ever "Two Countries - One Economy" nomination.
One of the candidates is the Belarusian logistics company Beltamozhservice. The company's contribution to the development of partnership relations in the sphere of logistics and trade, increase of trade turnover of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the Republic of Belarus was noted.
"Beltamozhservice" has been operating in the market of international logistics services for more than 24 years. In recent years the cooperation with the Nizhny Novgorod region, which is one of the main partners of the company, has been actively developing.
The company's business card is the provision of packages of solutions for business - from consulting on foreign economic activity, obtaining permits, classification of goods, organisation of delivery of raw materials and components, their customs clearance, to development of logistic routes for export, import of products, escort of cargoes to any point of the world.
On 15 April 2022 the heads of RUE "Beltamozhservice" and the representative office of the Nizhny Novgorod region in the Republic of Belarus signed a cooperation agreement. The work on interaction with economic entities of Nizhny Novgorod region in the sphere of transport and logistics, customs and consulting services, as well as in the sphere of mutual exchange of required goods will be carried out on a permanent basis.
In the period from April 2022 to September 2023, RUE "Beltamozhservice" will actively cooperate with Nizhny Novgorod region enterprises in the retail and wholesale sectors, as well as implement a number of projects within the framework of transport and forwarding activities. In the current period, about two dozen mutually beneficial contracts have been signed, aimed at intensifying cooperation between the parties.
BKM Holding, BelGAZavtoservice and Zavod Promburvod are also included in the "Two Countries - One Economy" nomination.
