Goods in express cargo: innovations in declaration
A lot of time has passed since the adoption of the Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated 28.08.2018 No. 142 "On the customs declaration of goods delivered by the carrier as an express cargo using the declaration for goods" (hereinafter - Decision No. 142). The subject of our attention is the changes aimed at improving the declaration procedure.
The Decision No. 142 entered into force on July 1, 2019. From this date, in a number of cases, it is possible to use such a form of declaration for goods as a declaration for goods for express cargo (hereinafter - DTEG) in relation to certain categories of goods delivered by carriers as express cargo, if the customs declaration of these goods carried out by customs representatives.
