Introduction of electronic vehicle passports in Belarus postponed to April 1, 2021

The introduction of electronic vehicle passports in Belarus has been postponed to April 1, 2021. This is provided for by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of October 30, 2020 No. 615, which is officially published today at National Legal Internet Portal , BelTA informs.



Previously, it was planned to introduce electronic passports from November 1, 2020.

The possibility of issuing electronic passports in the system of electronic passports for vehicles must be provided by March 31, 2021 (the previous deadline was November 1, 2020).

Republican government bodies need to bring their normative legal acts in accordance with the adopted resolution by March 31, 2021.

As reported, TsNIITU JSC was appointed the national operator of the system of electronic passports for vehicles. & quot; Beltamozhservice & quot; granted the right to issue electronic passports, in certain cases this will be done by Beltekhosmotr.
