Chinese vector: Beltamozhservice expands co-operation

For the first time in Vitebsk region! Beltamozhservice sent a train with peat products of UE Vitebskoblgaz to the People's Republic of China.

On 28 August 2023 at 16:00 within the framework of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation for the first time fr om the station "Orsha-Vostochnaya" (Orsha, Pogranichnaya str. 4B) more than 1300 tonnes of peat products of UE "Vitebskoblgaz" were shipped by a full-size 62-container train to China, which will cover more than 8.5 thousand km in 17 days. The container train will go through the territory of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, through the border crossing "Altynkol-Khorgos". The final point on the map will be Qingdao station, wh ere the railway train will be received by Chinese partners SHANGHAI IZOLITE INDUSTRIAL CO. LTD. The project was implemented by Beltamozhservice together with Vitebskoblgaz in cooperation with the Belarusian Railway and Belintertrans - transport and logistics centre of the Belarusian Railway. 

Since the beginning of the year RUE Beltamozhservice has formed and dispatched 35 container trains with products of Belarusian exporters to the People's Republic of China. The successful organisation of the project is an important starting point for the economy of the Vitebsk region and promotion of Belarusian export products (peat products and other goods) to the Chinese market. In the future, RUE Beltamozhservice plans to expand the range of Belarusian export products and increase the frequency of container train shipments.

It is important that within the framework of the programme to promote Belarusian exports, RUE Beltamozhservice provides a full range of logistics services when sending trains, including consolidation of goods from any part of the Republic of Belarus at its own terminals, acceptance of requests for transportation, storage and phyto-sanitary control, provision of rolling stock, customs clearance of the necessary transport and other documents, sealing, freight forwarding services along the entire route, customs declaration - all this is carried out by RUE Beltamozhservice.
