Logistics.BY: Our credo is ‘not indifferent to customer’s!

Over the years of its existence, the Minsk branch of RUE “Beltamozhservice” has gone from the youngest branch of the enterprise to its leader and has become a leading logistics operator not only in the capital region, but also in the republic. Despite the achieved results and a well-deserved reputation as a leader in the field of logistics services, the Minsk branch is still striving for new heights, as it was twenty years ago, and is increasing its presence in the logistics services market of our country and abroad. Dmitry YASHKOV, director of the branch, tells about what tasks the branch sets for itself, what projects have already been implemented and what its feature is.

- Dmitry, according to the tradition, interviews begin with a question about all the work done and summing up some results. However, I suggest starting our conversation with prospects – you are a young head of a leading branch, naturally, you came to the position with some of your own ideas and plans…

– There really are plans, and there are a lot of them. As well as the tasks assigned to the branch. To solve them, to reach all targets – that is what the entire staff of the branch that consists of more than half a thousand people is working on. As a manager, I see my task in organizing the progressive, evolutionary development of the branch. By this, I mean the balanced, economically justified development of all areas of activity, of which, by the way, we have more than two dozen that include the infrastructure of the branch, the formation of a team and the introduction of modern technologies. In a word, building 4-PL and 5-PL logistics.
