The Belarusian delegation held a series of international meetings at the International Customs Forum, which is currently taking place in Moscow.
Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Belarus Vladimir Orlovsky and Acting Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Ruslan Davydov signed two resolutions of the Board of the Customs Committee of the Union State on the activities of the Interstate Centre for Coordination of Risk Management and on the implementation of analytical functions and monitoring of customs operations of the Customs Committee of the Union State. During the bilateral meeting, the heads of the customs services of Belarus and Russia discussed the results of interaction and the solution of common tasks in the near future.
The Belarusian customs officials also discussed cooperation and progress in drafting international agreements in the customs sphere with delegations from the General Customs Service of Cuba and the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs of the Ministry of Finance of India.
The Belarusian delegation took part in the events of the business programme of the IV International Customs Forum, including representatives of the State Customs Committee as speakers at the round table "Electronic interaction with the Federal Customs Service of Russia: balance of security, speed and convenience" and the panel discussion "Risk management system in the EAEU: on the way to a common standard of customs control".
Customs officers together with RUE Beltamozhservice presented an exhibition stand at the Forum with a visualisation of the application of the system for monitoring international transit traffic using navigation devices.
