At the National airport of Minsk opened a point of return of cash for purchases on the Tax Free system
In our country such a system has been operating since 2013, the only operator of which is RUE "Beltamozhservice".
Today more than 400 shops in Belarus provide foreign citizens with the opportunity to make purchases on the Tax Free system.
Minsk National Airport is a major point of the registration for the export of goods, which accounts for more than half of the confirmation of refund of value added tax. In general, more than 2 thousand of them were registered in the republic for 5 months of this year (28% more than in the same period of 2017).
With the beginning of the operation of the point of cash refund of the Republican unitary enterprise "Beltamozhservice" the system is simplified: now it is not required to send a check and wait for the receipt of money to the Bank account.
Directly at the Minsk National Airport for registration of a check for VAT refund under this system the customs "Minsk-2" recommends air passengers to arrive in advance, providing a time reserve of 15-20 minutes.
Simplification and reduction of VAT refund terms will certainly be appreciated by Tax Free users.
