RUE «Beltamozhservice» is the operator of the Tax Free system in Belarus
In the Republic of Belarus has been set up and is operating a VAT refund system (Tax Free) the operator of which is RUE “Beltamozhservice”.
VAT refund in the Republic of Belarus is made to a foreign citizen who does not have a permanent place of residence in a member state of the EAEU. This must be confirmed by a passport or other document. This system can be used if you purchase an item, to VAT at a rate of 20% for more than 80 Belarusian rubles in one day in one store, which participate in the Tax Free program.
Refunds provide for 15% of the amount of the purchase of goods without VAT.
Refunds to foreign citizens are made to a bank card, as well as in cash at the National Airport "Minsk" (duty-free shop MarketLiga), as well as in branches of JSC "JSSB Belarusbank" located at the republican customs clearance points on the border with Poland, Lithuania , Latvia, Ukraine.
Since 2021, the mechanism for issuing the Tax Free service has been simplified: a trade organization issues one copy of the check form for a VAT refund.
The number of retail facilities connected to the Tax Free system today is more than 900 throughout the country. The stores offer products of both imported and domestic production (jewelry, clothing, footwear, electrical appliances, etc.). The geography of trade facilities providing services through this system covers not only regional, but also district centers throughout the country.
